At Club degli Investitori we spend a lot of time in universities and research centers looking for talent.
What we often find are brilliant students — curious, creative, technically strong — who simply do not see entrepreneurship as a possible path for their future.
Many of them believe that starting a company requires resources, connections or a background they do not have. Others think entrepreneurship is something that happens somewhere else: in Silicon Valley, in London, or in cities where the ecosystem already feels more mature.
This perception is one of the biggest barriers to innovation.
Enter Academy was created to address exactly this gap.
The idea is simple: open the door to entrepreneurship for young people who may never have considered building a company before. Not through theory, but through real stories, practical learning and direct contact with founders and investors.
The initiative is structured around two pillars.
Enter Camp is an intensive four-day experience designed with universities to expose students to the real process of building a startup. Enter Club is the community that follows, connecting alumni with mentors, internships, scholarships and opportunities to stay involved in the ecosystem.
Over the next three years the goal is to reach more than 3,000 university students.
The challenge is urgent. Over the last decade Italy has lost more than 150,000 companies led by entrepreneurs under the age of 35. At the same time, the innovation ecosystem has shown enormous potential, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs and mobilizing tens of billions of euros in investment.
The problem is not a lack of talent.
It is a lack of exposure to entrepreneurship as a real and accessible career path.
Enter Academy is our attempt to change that.
Because investing in startups does not begin with capital.
It begins with people who decide to build something.
