Co-founder and partner of Panakès Partners. He began his career in 1997 as a researcher at LETI, then in R&D at STMicroelectronics. This was followed by 1o years at Sofinnova Partners, from analyst to partner. He holds an MSC from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from ESCP-EAP. He is a Kauffman Fellow and sits on the boards of Alesi Surgical, MMI, Neuromod, Relief, and Lymphatica. Alessio is secretary of the Italian Tech Alliance. He has also made a number of investments in startups in his own right (including Aryel, 1000pharmacies, BuddyFit, Cesarine…) or with the Investors Club (ODJ, Roomless, …).
