Graduated from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, two master’s degrees in Middle Eastern Studies. She began her career in Pirelli between Italy and Spain, dealing with marketing and communication strategies. In 1983, she moved with her family to Novara where her father had founded Trasgo, operating in the logistics and road transport sector. In 2000, he joined We@bank as Direct Marketing Manager; after that, he joined Avaya, a U.S. multinational in the IP telephony industry as Marketing Manager EMEA, Services Division. In 2006, he returned to the family business and in those later years the company grew a lot, reaching 400 employees and 18 locations. In January 2024, the business was sold to the COSCO Group, currently the largest shipowner in the world. Anna is Co-founder and President of Ohana ODV, a voluntary organization active mainly in the Syrian territory, with several support and empowerment projects dedicated to women and children.
