Graduated in economics and commerce from the University of Turin, Giancarlo is an entrepreneur and CEO of the C.I.S.L.A. srl group, which operates in the field of hot forging of steel, light alloys and machining, and is a leader in automotive systems for moving hardtop or canvas roofs. The group places its products mainly in the foreign market with diversification among production sectors (automotive, sports, rail, energy, etc.) and customers (including Porsche, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, Astom Martin, Alstom, Areva, Leitner, Knorr Bremse, Cameron). He was founder and Vice President of the cooperative credit bank RivaBanca (now Banca d’Alba), a lecturer in Business Economics and Marketing between Turin, Venice and Padua, and Vice President of the Small Industry Committee of Confindustria Canavese
