Alessio Rolando
He is Tax Equity Partner of PwC Tax & Legal Services (TLS – Associazione Professionale di Avvocati e Commercialisti) and head of the TLS office in Turin, with responsibility for tax activities in the North West Region.
He graduated in Economics and Business in 1995 (University of Turin) and was admitted to the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Turin in 2001. He is a Statutory Auditor and has been admitted as a court-appointed technical expert (CTU) at the Court of Turin.
He has over 20 years of professional experience gained in international tax firms (Studio Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati from 1997 to 2007, PwC TLS since 2008) and specialises in advising multinational companies on national and international tax matters, tax planning, transfer pricing, M&A tax, tax litigation, anti-avoidance and anti-abuse rules, permanent establishment issues, and the interpretation of double taxation treaties and EU tax directives.
He has gained significant experience in assisting the generational transfer of family businesses.
He has gained considerable experience and knowledge of the Automotive sector.
He serves as Tax Automotive Leader within the Italian PwC network.
Alessio has coordinated several tax M&A projects for multinational companies with an Italian parent company (outbound) and foreign multinationals with operations in Italy (inbound).
