Cristina Tomassini

Cristina Tomassini is an executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, energy transition and technological innovation applied to the energy sector.

She developed deep expertise in the energy industry through a twenty-year career at ENGIE Group, where she held senior roles in financial management and advisory, working on M&A transactions, project finance and the development of renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, storage and cogeneration projects. She also led the launch of new business lines in e-mobility and energy storage.

In venture capital, Cristina served as Senior Partner at CDP Venture Capital SGR’s Green Transition Fund, a €250 million fund focused on investments in startups and funds operating in cleantech, circular economy and technologies for industrial decarbonization.

She also has experience as an independent board member in both listed and private companies. Her profile combines a deep understanding of European energy markets with distinctive expertise in corporate finance, governance and the management of investment portfolios in real assets and emerging technologies.

Cristina holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Tuscia, graduating with full marks. She completed the CFO Executive Program at Luiss, as well as executive education programs at HEC Paris and Valore D through InTheBoardRoom.
