Francesco Ronchi
Francesco Ronchi is a Turin-based entrepreneur and founder and President of Synesthesia, a benefit company specializing in digital transformation, software development, digital communication and marketing.
Born in 1975, he has a strong technological background and developed a passion for coding from an early age, starting with the Commodore 64. He trained in graphic and photographic techniques and later obtained a degree in Computer Science.
After working as a freelance professional on software development projects for major organizations, and following several entrepreneurial experiences, he founded Synesthesia in 2011. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily, working with national and international clients on digital transformation, software development, digital communication, training, events and open innovation projects.
Synesthesia has received several recognitions, including the Premio Chiave a Stella in 2015 and 2023, the Financial Times FT1000 Europe ranking in 2018–2019, and the Leader della Crescita ranking by Il Sole 24 Ore from 2019 to 2023.
Francesco is also actively involved in technological innovation and scientific outreach, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and digital education. He is President of Fondazione SYX and promotes social-impact initiatives such as TuttiConnessi, aimed at reducing the digital divide.
He has also created and curated major technology and innovation initiatives, including Droidcon Italy, Swift Heroes and FuturMakers, a project dedicated to STEM education for children and young people.
