  • Gianluigi Guida is a founder, C-level executive, strategic advisor and business angel with extensive experience in digital products, software platforms and technology-driven growth.

He has built his career across sport-tech, fintech and digital media, combining entrepreneurial execution with senior leadership roles in international technology companies. He has also been involved in M&A transactions on both the sell-side and buy-side, working in private equity and venture capital contexts.

Since 2019, he has been working as a strategic advisor, business angel and founder, supporting SMEs and startups in the broader digital and technology sectors. His work focuses on product and technology audits, brand assessment, growth strategy definition and evaluation of M&A targets. He is an active member of Italian Angels for Growth and has advised both startups and private equity funds, including supporting a sport-tech startup through a successful exit and advising a major PE fund in the acquisition of Deltatre.

Previously, Gianluigi served as CTO and later COO and Group Board Member of Deltatre, a global leader in sport-tech solutions providing OTT, digital and event platforms for major sports events worldwide. As COO, he drove strategy execution and helped reshape the company’s pricing and business model toward a recurring-revenue platform subscription model. As CTO, he led the transition from a custom-services business to a product and platform-oriented organization, also creating the company’s Innovation Centre.

Before joining Deltatre, he founded Newton S.r.l., a boutique technology consultancy later acquired by Deltatre in 2009. Through Newton, he developed B2B software platforms in fintech and media, including a Web CMS platform that played a key role in the company’s exit.

Gianluigi holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a Global Executive MBA. His areas of expertise include business strategy, product strategy, innovation management, talent management, software processes, OTT and digital media.
