Giovanni Rando Mazzarino

He joined Olivetti Telecomunicazioni in the early 1980s and stayed there in various roles in the design and production of PABX and TLC Systems.
In 1989 he moved to SEAT, STET Division, and within Saritel Spa took charge of the Televas Division, focused on the development, delivery and marketing of integrated telecommunications and EDI services.
In December 1992 he joined ILTE as Director of the Pre-Press Plant.
At the end of 1997 he returned to Seat Pagine Gialle as the company’s Director of Processes and Systems.
In both companies he led major transformation projects of core business processes, driving innovative solutions in the Publisher-Printer supply chain, Sales Force Automation, and the multimedia and multichannel offering of editorial content.
In 2003 he joined the Lottomatica Spa Group, a Group which over the years, through the acquisitions first of GTECH and then of IGT, took on the features of a multinational.
Within the Group he held various positions until 31/12/2016 and, as Group Senior Vice President, held the roles of:
•Chairman of LIS (Lottomatica Italia Servizi), the company responsible for the entire offering of “Commercial Services” (Top ups, Payment, Utilities, Tickets, etc) on the Italian market
•Chairman and CEO of SED Multitel (OLO), a company with a TLC Operator Licence responsible for the entire offering and management of broadband connectivity across the country
•Chairman and CEO of Ringmaster (50% Lottomatica and 50% Reply)
•Global CTO Interactive, Betting and Italy, also responsible for all Data Centre and B2C Contact Centre facilities worldwide.
These years at Lottomatica/GTECH/IGT were once again characterised by major transformation projects, with ICT as the main enabler of business growth.
