Giuliano Busetto
Giuliano Busetto is one of Italy’s leading experts in smart manufacturing and digital transformation, with a long career in senior roles at multinational companies such as Siemens and ABB.
He served as CEO of the Industry Sector of Siemens Italy and Greece for over 15 years, until 2024. During his tenure, he led the sector across its various organizations, bringing it to become the third most important market in terms of volumes and results after China and Germany.
He was Chairman of Siemens Industry Software S.r.l. and served as board member or Managing Director of companies within the Siemens Group.
He was President of Federazione ANIE for five years, until 2021, and served for two terms on the Board of Directors of the University of Milano-Bicocca, until December 2024.
He was responsible for a technical working group on Industry 4.0 within Confindustria, of whose General Council he was also a member.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of Politecnico di Milano and Vice President of MADE Scarl.
He is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board of Fondazione Anthem.
He is President of Digital Industries World.
He is active as Senior Advisor to private equity funds and is a founding partner of Innovative Start Up.
