Ivan Mangone

Ivan Mangone is an executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the medical technology, healthcare and biotechnology sectors.

He is currently CEO of Progetti Medicali, one of the world’s leading companies in the development and production of defibrillators for hospitals and emergency services. In this role, he oversees new project development, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, drawing on prior managerial experience within the Group.  

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Orione Investimenti, a holding company with investments in biotech and medical technologies, where he contributes to strategic direction, investment evaluation, portfolio analysis and value-creation initiatives.  

Alongside his corporate roles, Ivan is active in the broader innovation and life sciences ecosystem. He serves as corporate partner and reference figure for ITS Biotecnologie Piemonte and Bioindustry Park, contributing to training initiatives, collaboration with companies and stakeholders, and projects linked to innovation, internationalization and professional skills development.  

Earlier in his career, he held senior roles within Elpro S.r.l. and Progetti Medicali, including General Manager, coordinating sales, R&D, service, budgeting, forecasting, national sales teams and international area managers.  

Ivan holds a degree in Political Science, Administration and Organization from the University of Turin. He has a long-standing background in emergency healthcare and training, including roles with the Italian Red Cross, 118 Piemonte and GIEC as instructor and trainer in first aid, emergency response and AED use.
